Meet Musenya

Meet Musenya, a young single mother who is also an orphan. She is hoping to make and sell more African baskets this Christmas so that she can pay her school fees and look after her child.

Musenya surprises us with her strength, dedication and ambition. She did not give up school when she had her child. She wants to work hard to build a better future for herself and for her child.

Musenya asked us to thank you for buying these colourful storage baskets from @thebamsartshop. This has given her the opportunity to have some income.
